Welcome to the Thomas Tucker American Legion Post 204
Since our charter in 1920, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.
Preamble:
For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes:
To uphold and defend the constitution of the United States of America;
to maintain law and order; to foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism;
to preserve the memories and incidents of our association in All Wars;
to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation;
to combat the autocracy of both the classes and masses;
to make right the master of might;
to promote peace and good will on earth;
to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy;
to concentrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
If you have served at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941 and were honorably discharged or you are still serving active military duty honorably, you are eligible for membership with The American Legion. If you are the spouse, daughter, granddaughter, stepdaughter or a female veteran, you may be eligible to join the American Legion Auxiliary. If you are the son, stepson or grandson of a veteran, you may qualify to join the Sons of The American Legion. If you ride a motorcycle and qualify for any of the aforementioned groups, you can join the American Legion Riders. Contact Tomas Tucker American Legion Post 204 for more information.
